". . .Simon Kenevan's inspirational landscapes redefine the boundaries of pastel painting." Martin Gallery, Charleston

Simon Kenevan is considered by some to be one of the finest landscape and seascape painters to emerge from the United Kingdom in recent years, and his frequent visits to his beloved England always will provide an undeniable and irresistable source of inspiration. Although he now works primarily from his studio in the USA, his new originals are available on both sides of the Atlantic. He paints in pastel, totally at one with the medium, using hands and fingers to apply the pigment, working the colour into the paper. Simon also paints in oil, the process being as physical and absorbing as using dry pigment. Take a few moments to browse through this website, and immerse yourself in some of his beautiful paintings.
