I'm getting very brave, and big is the new thing for me. The joy of using oil is the opportunity to use BIG canvases. My only constraint is the size of my studio - and I'm almost at the limit. We all can see what is in the near future . . . And in fact I spotted a lovely candidate for an alternative studio today. I'll let you know.

A new venue in my hometown of Bournemouth (England, for those who haven't twigged!) - Whitewall Galleries, are talking about a future exhibition of my work. The gallery is located in the most prestigious location, not only for Bournemouth itself, but for many miles in all directions.
This is a massive thrill for me - I have always dreamed of a show in my own town. Like the return of the prodigal son, it would be a momentous homecoming for me, a chance for my sons Finn & Caspar to see for real what their dad does, a chance to say 'Thank You' to my family and friends for their support. Keep your fingers crossed for me . . .

| MARTIN GALLERY have sold a bunch of paintings recently - at one point it seemed one was bought every few minutes. 'Wow!' The peak was at the beginning of June, while I was over in the UK. It was very exciting to get the emails to let me know the latest - every 30 mins for while! Keep that up, and I'll be finding that new studio sooner rather than later!
GOOD LUCK to Kit's bro for his upcoming wedding - may his married life be as blissful as mine!
